The cost of invisible error

More training will not solve a problem you have not identified.

It is possible to spend months—or years—repeating the same limitation while consuming time, ammunition and attention in a process that feels productive.

The constraint may be technical, biomechanical, perceptual, measurable, methodological or embedded in the way practice itself is organized. ABA | Debrief separates symptoms from causes so your effort goes where it can actually change performance.

You do not need another random drill. You need a better diagnosis.

The ABA standard

Analysis built around TMM.

The Debrief does not begin with a favorite technique or a prewritten prescription. It begins with the task, the evidence and the person performing it.

“Not generic coaching. Not motivational talk. A technical diagnosis.”
T

Technique

Is the technical solution efficient, repeatable and appropriate for the task?

M

Metric

What can be observed, measured and compared without relying on impressions?

M

Method

Does the training process address the actual constraint—or merely repeat activity?

Who it is for

For people who take development seriously.

ABA | Debrief is useful across experience levels because the analysis is individual. The standard changes with the task—not with labels.

01

Independent students who practice alone and need an experienced outside view.

02

Intermediate shooters who are training consistently but feel stuck.

03

Experienced shooters seeking technical refinement and cleaner measurement.

04

Instructors and professionals who want critical review without performance theater.

Evidence before prescription

No magical percentage. No invented certainty.

Frequently asked questions

Before you begin.

What kind of video can I submit?+

Live-fire training, dry practice, draw and presentation, movement, equipment manipulation, training routines or simulated decision-making exercises. Submit the angle and context that best show the issue you want analyzed.

Do I need to be an ABA student?+

No. The Debrief is open to adults regardless of prior affiliation. Your experience, objective and training context are considered individually.

How much material can I send?+

The standard Debrief includes up to three relevant clips, with a combined duration of no more than 15 minutes. This keeps the review focused and the conclusions useful.

Is this an online class?+

No. It is an individual technical diagnostic. The call explains what the footage reveals, distinguishes priorities from secondary issues and directs your next training decisions.

When will the analysis happen?+

The material is reviewed and the private call is scheduled within seven calendar days after a complete, usable submission is received.

How is my footage handled?+

Your material is used only to perform the service and is deleted within 30 days, unless you separately authorize retention or publication. Never submit classified, restricted, graphic or unlawfully obtained material.

Does the service guarantee improvement?+

No legitimate analysis can guarantee a specific result. The Debrief provides professional observations and priorities based on the submitted evidence. Results depend on safe, lawful and consistent application.
